PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria Police are investigating a vehicle hijacking incident from Wednesday evening.
Authorities say a victim reported that two male suspects wearing masks approached her as she was getting into her vehicle just after 11:00 P.M. in the area of Brandywine Drive and West Aire.
The suspects reportedly took the victim’s vehicle and personal items and drove off. The victim was uninjured.
Police in the area on a different call observed the stolen vehicle and chased it, but eventually lost sight of it.
The vehicle was eventually found in the area of Humboldt and Folkers. A search of area did not turn anything up.
Peoria Police have no information at this time on suspects.
