PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria Police say a gunman robbed a Papa John’s Pizza location near Bradley University Monday night.
Police were called just after 8:30 p.m. to the restaurant near the corner of N. Bourland Avenue and W. Windom Street, where a male suspect with a gun took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register.
Peoria Public Information Officer Semone Roth says no one was injured, and the suspect fled on foot.
Officers assisted by a K-9 searched the area, but could not find the suspect. PPD is still investigating.
