PEORIA, Ill. — A man was arrested early Thursday morning after Peoria Police executed a search warrant at a home W. Howett, between Griswold and Westmoreland.
PPD Spokesperson Semone Roth says during a search of the home, officers found four handguns, one of them stolen, illegal drugs, drug packaging, drug paraphernalia and cash.
32-year-old Rico Booker was taken into custody without incident and taken to the Peoria Police Department.
Booker was arrested for Unlawful possession of a controlled substance, Unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, Possession of cannabis, Possession of Cannabis with intent to deliver, Unlawful possession of methamphetamines, No FOID card, Possession of a weapon by a felon (4 counts), Possession of a defaced firearm, Possession of a stolen firearm and Armed violence.
Booker was taken to the Peoria County Jail following his arrest.
