NORMAL, Ill. – Tuitiion and other fees are going up at Illinois State University.
ISU’s Board of Trustees Friday approved a 2.7% overall cost increase compared to the previous academic year.
New undergraduate students from Illinois will pay a little more than $402 per credit hour in tuition. That goes up to more than $422 for graduate students.
Student fees goes up to more than $113 per credit hour.
Except for Cardinal Court apartments, housing will cost between $3,000 and $5,100 dollars a semester.
Meal plans are also increasing to between $2,404 and $2,582.
The rates would be locked in until 2027.
In another change, the board approved new undergraduate majors in data science and engineering, and new instruction in creative technologies.
