No injuries after Tuesday night fire at Mapleton Caterpillar building

MAPLETON, Ill. (25 News) – There were no injuries reported after a duct fire at the Caterpillar Warehouse in Mapleton Tuesday night.

25 News reports the fire happened at around 9:00 P.M. and started on a melting pot, which spread through the air ducts.

Everyone was evacuated to the cafeteria while the fire was being put out.

Fire crews from Limestone and Logan-Trivoli were called to assist.
