WALTONVILLE, Ill. – There are no reports of damage after another earthquake in southern Illinois.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the magnitude 3.1 quake was reported just after 10:00 p.m. Sunday.
It was centered more than three miles west-northwest of Waltonville, Illinois, which is just south of Mount Vernon, and southeast of Saint Louis.
This quake, which many likely didn’t feel, comes a month after a three-point-six quake was reported in Putnam County – also with no damage.
