AUBURNDALE, Wis. – A graduate of East Peoria High School is dead after a car crash in Wisconsin last week.
25 News through sister station WEAU reports Michael Baugh, 25, died last Tuesday in a crash on a highway near Auburndale, southwest of Wausau.
Authorities believe Baugh’s car was hit head-on as he tried to pass a semi truck, when his vehicle was hit head-on by an SUV travelling westbound in the eastbound lane.
The SUV driver was taken to a local hospital in critical.
A passenger in Baugh’s vehicle was treated for injuries.
