PEORIA COUNTY, Ill. – A number of Peoria County facilities will be closed on Monday due to icy conditions on the roads.
The Peoria County Courthouse, Veterans Assistance Commission, Peoria County Election Commission, Peoria County Animal Protection Services lobby, Peoria City/County Health Department offices, and the Highway Department office buildings will be closed.
Departments will reopen on Tuesday.
The Peoria County Sheriff’s Office, Jail, and Juvenile Detention Center will be staffed and functioning, but the Sheriff’s Office lobby, records, and visitation are closed.
Inmates can still be visited remotely throughout the closure, and the bonding lobby will remain open.
