PEORIA, Ill. – A reported altercation led to a stabbing Thursday evening near downtown Peoria.
Peoria Police say officers arrived in the area of Green St. and Madison Ave. just after 9:30 P.M., finding an adult male with apparent stab wounds.
The victim told police that Damion E. Gulliford, 43, allegedly produced a knife and stabbed him after the reported altercation.
Gulliford was arrested for Aggravated Battery with a Knife and taken to the Peoria County Jail.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
