PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria Police have found the second of two people wanted for murder in a case stemming back from early last year.
Peoria County Jail booking records indicate Torreon Carey, 25, was arrested Thursday and taken to jail on First-Degree Murder and weapons charges.
Carey was one of two people wanted for the February, 2023 shooting death of Davion Parker, 18, who was found several days before he died, in a parked car in the area of Lexington Hills Apartments.
The other suspect – Donte Agnew, 21 – was arrested last November in Indiana and extradited back to Peoria.
Carey should have an initial court appearance Friday, while Agnew is scheduled for a trial in April.
