PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria Police say they have a man in custody for allegedly selling drugs out of a local home.
Officers say on Wednesday, they arrested Bennie Johnson, 36, after a SWAT team searched his home near Castleton and Frostwood Parkway.
That search, they say, turned up a handgun, an AK47 rifle, illegal drugs, and other equipment.
Johnson is so far being charged with Possession of a Weapon by a Felon, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Distribution of a Controlled Substance.
