PEORIA, Ill. – An electrical problem is the cause of an afternoon fire Friday in Peoria’s East Bluff area.
Peoria fire crews say they were called to Illinois Avenue inbetween New York and Indiana around 2:45 p.m.
Officials say most of the fire was in the attic.
No one was hurt, and the person home evacuated safely.
An estimated $5,000 in damage was done to the home.
