PEORIA, Ill. – A Roanoke man has been indicted by a Peoria County grand jury on a felony sex charge.
The grand jury Tuesday charged Dennis Leman, 63, of Roanoke with the Class-Two felony charge of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse.
Leman is accused, according to an indictment, of having sexual conduct with a victim described as being “severely or profoundly intellectually disabled” when the act was committed between September of 2012 and September of 2013 in Peoria County.
Jail records indicate Leman wasn’t arrested until February 8th of this year, and released a day later.
He’s scheduled to be arraigned Thursday, March 14.
