PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria man allegedly had drugs and weapons on him when he allegedly caused trouble at a local home Thursday.
Peoria Police says Detrick Harris, 33, was arrested after a search warrant ended up being served on the home on East Thrush prior to 5:30 p.m.
The search allegedly turned up two handguns, drugs, and drug equipment.
Harris preliminarily faced two counts of Possession of a Weapon by a Felon, along with single counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. But, he’s now being formally charged with the weapons counts, and a drug possession count.
He remains in jail.
