CINCINNATI, Oh. – The season has come to an end for the Bradley Braves men’s basketball team.
The Braves fell to Cincinnati in the second round of the NIT on Saturday afternoon, 74-57.
5th year senior Malevy Leons led the Braves with 16 points, while shooting 2-3 from three point range. Junior Connor Hickman scored 14 for Bradley.
Jizzle James of the Bearcats led all scorers with 25 points, with Dan Skillings Jr. adding 20.
Cincinnati will take on the winner of Indiana State and Minnesota in the NIT quarterfinals on Tuesday.
The Braves took an early 5-3 lead after the game’s first minute, which was also their last lead of the game.
Bradley’s season ends with a record of 23-12.
