PEORIA, Ill. – Local and federal law enforcement arrested two men early Thursday morning in South Peoria on drug charges.
Peoria Police say a search warrant was executed by their Special Investigations Division, Special Weapons and Tactics Team, and members of the Drug Enforcement Administration,just after 6:30 A.M. in the area of Warren and Ann Streets.
Several individuals were detained by police. Officers also reportedly seized a large amount of methamphetamine, cocaine, cannabis, cannabinoids, drug packaging and equipment, numerous weapons, and money.
Tavier Williams, 34, on federal charges of Possession with Intent to Distribute 50 grams or More of Methamphetamine, Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine, Possession of a Machine Gun, and Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person.
Jacob Bachman, 25, was arrested on a charge of Possession of Methamphetamine.
Both were taken to the Peoria County Jail.
