PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria Police are investigating and looking for suspects in two separate shootings from the past few days with injuries.
Officers responded just before 8:30 P.M. on Friday to reports of a person shot in the area of the Aspen Bluff Apartments on Marengo Drive.
A 16-year-old told police he was driving near Molleck and Forrest Hill when an unknown male walking in the street started shooting at his car.
Police responded to seven shots fired in the area of West Ann and Madison Park Terrace just before 4:45 P.M. Saturday, finding shell casings but no victims in the area.
They learned a short time later an adult male with a gunshot wound was taken to a local hospital by private vehicle.
Both victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
