PEORIA, Ill. – A man was arrested early Thursday morning in South Peoria after a drug investigation.
Peoria Police say 44-year-old Matthew Morris was taken into custody at around 6:00 A.M. after a search warrant was executed in the area of Proctor, between Western and Madison Park Terrace.
During a search, officers reportedly found and seized illegal drugs, drug equipment and packaging, money, and ammunition.
Morris was arrested on charges of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession with Intent to Deliver Cannabis, Unlawful Possession of Cannabis, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Unlawful Possession of Firearm Ammunition without a FOID Card.
He was taken to the Peoria County Jail.
