PEORIA, Ill. – Police say a woman was shot in the arm Monday night after ShotSpotter detected multiple rounds fired in Central Peoria.
Peoria Police Spokesperson Semone Roth says it happened around 9:20 p.m., when officers were sent to W. Hanssler Place on reports of 15 rounds fired, then another 15 shots fired near W. Loucks Avenue.
Police found the 26-year-old woman who’d been shot. She was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have no suspects. An investigation is underway.
