PEORIA, Ill. – An arrest has been made after a stabbing Friday morning in South Peoria.
Peoria Police say 38-year-old Jeremy Williams was taken into custody and arrested for aggravated battery, and taken to the Peoria County Jail.
Police say the incident occurred in the area of Starr and Ligonier at around 8:45 A.M., with officers finding an adult male with a stab wound to the abdomen.
He was taken to a local hospital in serious condition.

Peoria Police say officers arrived to the area of Starr and Ligonier just before 8:45 A.M., finding an adult male with a stab wound to the abdomen.
He was taken to a local hospital.
Police say an adult male was taken in for questioning. They say no formal charges have been filed, but could change during the course of the investigation.
The investigation is on-going.
