PEORIA, Ill. – Road construction is requiring a change of venue for Peoria’s Moss Avenue Sale this weekend.
Sale Coordinator Jan Krause says they were thrilled when Bradley University offered to host the event on Olin Quad.
“It’s surrounded by Elmwood and St. James. It’s a beautiful area…it’s where the statue of Lydia Moss Bradley is.”
The sale’s configuration may be a little different, but otherwise, it will be pretty much the same.
“We have music, we have lots of street food, and lots and lots of vendors selling their wares. We’ve got 111 vendors setting up,” Krause says.
The sale area will be closed to vehicle traffic, but parking will be available on surrounding side streets near the campus.
The 44th Moss Avenue Antique Sale and Festival will be held on Saturday (6/7) from 8 a.m.- 3 p.m., rain or shine at Bradley University. Admission is free.
