PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria man has been indicted by a grand jury for a 2018 homicide in the East Bluff.
27-year-old Avione QM Parks is indicted on one count of First Degree Murder for his alleged connection to the death of 24-year-old Jermaine Jackson.
The shooting occurred on June 27th, 2018, in the area of New York and Archer, where Peoria Police responded to a shot fired.
Jackson was found in the area in a crashed vehicle with a gunshout wound to his head, and died from his wounds the next day.
Court documents allege that Parks knowingly shot Jackson.
Jail records indicate Parks is currently not in custody in the Peoria County Jail, as of Tuesday afternoon.
