KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Peoria Rivermen easily kept their season alive in Tennessee on Friday night.
Facing elimination, the Rivermen defeated the Knoxville Ice Bears 5-0 in Game 4 of their SPHL’s Presidents’ Cup semifinals.
JM Piotrowski scored twice for the Rivermen, with Corey Dennis, Jordan Ernst, and Garrett Devine also finding the back of the net. Nick Latinovich made 21 saves to earn the shutout.
The victory sets up a winner-take-all Game 5 in Peoria on Sunday at 3:15 P.M., with the winner moving on to face defending league champion Evansville in the Finals.
