PEORIA, Ill. – Saturday is opening day for a Peoria institution known for its homemade root beer, hot dogs and hot-buttered popcorn.
Lou’s Drive-In, near the corner of N. Knoxville and Lake Avenues has been a tradition for families in the Peoria area for decades.
Lou’s is typically open Tuesday-Saturday 11-8 and Sunday from 11-7, with outdoor seating and curb service in the evenings.
