PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria’s Riverfront Market is back for a 23rd season.
Sharon Gramm tells WMBD’s “Greg and Dan Show” it’s best described as a farmers and art market.
“It is a producers-only market. So, everything must be made, grown or created by the person that’s selling it,” Gramm says.
The Riverfront Market will start this Saturday with 118 vendors, and grow to about 125 by the peak of the season.
You can find fruits and veggies, crafts and unique gifts…even a mimosa while you walk around the market on Water Street.
The Riverfront Market runs every Saturday from 8-Noon through September 26.
Gramm says there’s only one weekend that they won’t be on Peoria’s Riverfront…the Fourth of July.
“Because of all the activity on the Riverfront for the fireworks, we will be moving to the Peoria Civic Center parking lot (that day).”
