PEORIA, Ill. – Severe thunderstorms that rolled through Central Illinois Wednesday evening have left thousands of people in the dark, though many of them have restored power.
More outages have been reported Thursday evening with new storm systems moving through.
Updated numbers from PowerOutage.us Thursday night indicate just over 8,400 residents are without power in Peoria County. Roughly 7,190 are without power in Tazewell County. Woodford County had just under 270 residents without power.
Other outages continue in Henry County, where just over 250 residents are in the dark. Marshall County has just under 180 without power.
