PEORIA, Ill. – Extreme heat has pulled the plug on a Peoria Riverfront concert.
The Peoria Park District says Thursday night’s Parrots of the Caribbean show has been cancelled.
With the heat index is forecasted to be between 105 and 110 during the show, the park district says it’s prioritizing the safety of guests, performers, and vendors.
All ticket holders to the Parrots of the Caribbean show will receive a refund in the next seven to ten days.
Friday night’s Tennessee Whiskey concert featuring Taylor Bruninga & the Bandits is still scheduled to take place.
