Homicide investigation underway after body found in Peoria’s East Bluff

PEORIA, Ill. – A homicide investigation is underway after what Peoria Police call a suspicious death in the East Bluff.

Officers responded to a home in the area of Seneca and California on Monday for a welfare check, finding an adult male body inside.

The cause and manner of the death, as well as the victim’s identity, will be released by the Peoria County Coroner’s Office.
