WOODFORD COUNTY, Ill. – Six people have been arrested in the past month in Woodford County for allegedly attempting to solicit sex from minors.
Chief Sheriff’s Deputy Dennis Tipsword says the six allegedly engaged in online sexual conversations, or traveled to try and have sex with a minor.
The six include:
- Mark Stephens, 54, Minonk; Arrested July 24th for Indecent solicitation of a child, grooming
- Michael Douglas, 31, Peoria; Arrested July 30th for Indecent solicitation of a child (three counts), traveling to meet a minor
- Steven Rassi, 79, Morton; Arrested August 18th for Indecent solicitation of a child, traveling to meet a minor, grooming
- Jeffry Collier, 66, Bloomington; Arrested August 18th for Indecent solicitation of a child (two counts), grooming, traveling to meet a minor
- Richard Pollizze, 55, Peoria; Arrested August 18th for Indecent solicitation of a child, traveling to meet a minor, grooming
- Hayden Meeker, 19, Villa Park; Arrested August 18th for Indecent solicitation of a child (two counts), traveling to meet a minor
Tipsword says all six have been released from pretrial custody on specific conditions.
