TAZEWELL COUNTY, Ill. β A Washington man accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting a youth softball player over several years is facing new allegations in Tazewell County.
45-year-old Jason Rockhold was ordered held in Woodford County last week on similar charges, with Tazewell County prosecutors filing a petition to detain him there on Tuesday.
Rockhold is now facing two counts of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Child and four counts of Criminal Sexual Assault in Tazewell County.
Court documents allege the victim was ten years old when Rockhold became her softball coach.
When the victim was 11, Rockhold would allegedly send her Snapchat messages, some sexual in nature.
Rockhold allegedly sexually assaulted the victim in an East Peoria parking lot when she was 11 or 12, and reportedly engaged in sexual intercourse βat least a hundred times over the years.β
Documents allege most of the encounters occurred at his home or his work, and sometimes would get the victim drunk before assaulting her.
