PEORIA, Ill. – A man has been arrested in Georgia in connection to a July armed robbery in Peoria.
Peoria Police says 24-year-old Jairius Johnson was arrested Friday in Macon, Georgia by the United States Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force.
The incident occurred July 21st at the Greenwood Estates where a victim suffered minor facial injuries from being pistol-whipped, and was robbed of cash and jewelry.
28-year-old Deliah Walker was arrested on July 29th for Armed Robbery in connection to the case.
