PEKIN, Ill. (25 News) – A man accused of allegedly firing at police and causing an explosion at a Washington multi-family home on Mother’s Day will remain in custody.
Scott Benway remains in custody as the court awaits an update from the Illinois Department of Human Services, though the nature of that update was not specified.
His next court date is Nov. 9.
