PEORIA Ill. – We’ve got our results for county board races in Peoria, Woodford, and Tazewell Counties.
In Peoria:
Jodi Hoos (D) will remain the Peoria County State’s Attorney, after defeating Republican challenger Robert Boucher, obtaining roughly 54% of the total vote.
Eden Blair (D) will have a seat on the District 6 County Board – obtaining more votes than Brett Beachler (R), and receiving more than 54% of the county’s vote.
The race for a seat on the District 8 County Board, wasn’t a very close one either.
Marica McCann (D) won over Nate Hoerr (R) – receiving more than 1700 votes, in comparison to his just over 1400 votes – that also equates to roughly 54% of the vote in Peoria County.
John Spears (D) took a close race against Frank Ierulli (R) for the Tenth Judicial Circuit – getting 50.24% of Peoria County’s vote.
In Woodford:
In a close race for the District One county board – John Rugg (R) beat challengers Larry Stine (D) and Jonathan Early Schertz (R) by no more than 400 total votes.
District Two went to David Meinhold (R) – in a not so close race – against Mike Laming (D) and Timothy Worner (R).
Voters also decided on Richard Reeb (R) for the District Three seat – giving him victory over challengers Pamela Terry (D), Autum Jones (R), and Greggory Walraven (R).
In Tazewell:
It was a close call for voters when choosing the next County Board District one seat…
Jay Hall (R) took the victory – receiving more than 51% of the county’s vote.
He defeated challengers Ralph Deene Milam (R), Joe Woodrow (R), and Steven Sours (D).
