PEORIA, Ill. – A winter weather advisory has been set for the Peoria area from midnight Tuesday until 10 a.m. Wednesday.
25 News Chief Meteorologist Chuck Collins said two rounds of snow are on the way, and one to two inches is expected for the Peoria metro area.
Trick-or-treaters on Halloween may need a winter coat with their costumes, as snow is expected on Thursday.
Collins said that Peoria’s record snowfall for October is 3.3 inches.
“The record snowfall for Halloween is a trace, and there’s a good chance we could break both records,” said Collins.
