PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria County grand jury has charged a Peoria man following his arrest last month on drug and weapons charges.
The grand jury Tuesday filed a host of charges after Rico Booker, 32, was arrested on April 13th.
The counts include Class-X felonies of Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, and Possession of Meth, a count of Possession of a Controlled Substance, and four counts of Possession of a Weapon by a Felon.
Police searched a home on West Howett, allegedly finding drugs, drug packaging, and cash, along with four handguns, one of which was stolen.
Booker was released from jail a day after his arrest after posting bond, according to records. He will be arraigned May 11.
