PEORIA, Ill. – A man accused of stabbing his cousin last month has been indicted by a Peoria County grand jury.
36-year-old Korie Neltner was indicted Tuesday on Attempt First Degree Murder, a Class X felony, and a Class 3 felony of Aggravated Battery.
Neltner allegedly traveled to his cousin’s house on May 11th after an argument, pulled a knife out, and stabbed him, slicing his stomach open.
Neltner is due back in court Thursday for an arraignment hearing.
The grand jury also indicted 18-year-old Brailen Moore on counts of Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, a Class 4 Felony, and Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm, a Class 1 Felony.
Moore is one of three people arrested in connection to a Memorial Day weekend shooting at a Peoria Heights gas station on War Memorial Drive.
Moore is due back in court June 20th for an arraignment hearing.
