URBANDALE, Ia. – The Powerball jackpot just keeps growing…reaching $1.3 billion after no one matched all five numbers and the Powerball Monday night.
Monday’s winning numbers were: 8, 23, 25, 40 and 53…with a Powerball of 5.
Ten tickets matched the first five numbers, but not the Powerball, winning $1 million in California, Florida, Kentucky, Maine, Michigan, two in New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
Wednesday’s jackpot ranks as the fifth largest in Powerball history with an estimated cash value of $589 million.
